Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Morondava - Belo sur Mer - Departure from pontoon behind Nofy Be Club House at Nosy Kely. Early afternoon arrival in Belo sur Mer bay. Visit to famous traditional Belo sur Mer shipyard. Evening meal in village before returning to sleep at anchor in bay or under tent ashore.

Day 2

Kirindy/Mite Dunes - Nosy Andriangory - 5am departure (you can continue sleeping if you spent night aboard). Morning arrival at Mite. Walk in spectacular dunes with breathtaking views of sea on one side and interior lakes on the other. Navigation to Nosy Andriangory (also called Nosy Be, the "big" island). Beach barbecue.

Day 3

Nosy Andriangory - Nosy Andriamitaroka - Camp cleanup, breakfast aboard while navigating to Nosy Andriamitaroka (rat island). Late morning arrival. Swimming, snorkeling and island walk. Evening departure for overnight navigation to Andevitra bay north of Morombe.

Day 4

Andevitra Bay - Morombe - Morning swimming and walk in Andevitra bay. Lunch aboard. Departure for Morombe where we'll arrive in the afternoon, end of this beautiful coastal adventure.
