Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Mangily/Ifaty - Departure - Transfer your luggage on board from the beach. Installation on board and briefing. Swimming, paddle-boarding, snorkeling on the Rose Massif before hoisting sails for navigation to Salary.

Day 2

Salary - Morning swim, paddle-boarding, snorkeling on the coral reef. Lunch on board then walk to discover Vezo fishing villages. Evening with Mikea musicians.

Day 3

Ambatomilo - Morning navigation to Ambatomilo. Swimming, snorkeling and paddle-boarding in the calm waters of the lagoon protected by the coral reef. Climbing the dunes for a breathtaking view of the village.

Day 4

Assassins Bay - Navigation to the splendid Assassins Bay. Anchorage below legendary Pierrot's house. Paddle-boarding, walk in the bay. Surfing possible if swell permits. Evening around a campfire.

Day 5

Assassins Bay - Day exploring the bay. Surfing if waves permit. Relaxation and last evening in this magical setting.

Day 6

Andavadoaka - Departure as soon as tide permits to Andavadoaka. Visit to the incredible bush hospital serving isolated communities. Drink in the village, dinner on board.

Day 7

Morombe - Morning navigation to Morombe. Walk through this small western-style town. Provisioning. Dinner on board followed by optional outing in lively bars.

Day 8

Nosy Andriamitaroka - Mite Dune - Snorkeling and walk among nomadic Vezo fishermen. Navigation to Mite Dune. Climbing for breathtaking views of the sea and inland lakes bordered by baobabs.

Day 9

Belo sur Mer - Arrival at Belo sur Mer in early morning. Free day to discover this temple of traditional shipbuilding. Visit to shipyards where schooners are built using ancestral methods.

Day 10

Belo sur Mer - Morondava - Morning walk to the salt pans. Picnic in the bottle baobab forest. Final sail to Morondava, pushed by westerly winds. Arrival at Nofy Be Club House pontoon.
