RADAMA ISLANDS IN 8 DAYS

Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1

  Crater Marina - Nosy Tanikely - Russians Bay - Dawn departure, breakfast aboard while navigating to Nosy Tanikely marine park (1h). Snorkeling and island exploration. Navigation to Russians Bay for overnight anchorage (3h).

• Day 2

  Nosy Iranja - Kalakajoro - Navigation to must-see Nosy Iranja (3h), swimming and visit of this iconic island. Lunch aboard followed by sail navigation to Kalakajoro, first of the Radama. Island walk and swimming on magnificent white sand beach.

• Day 3

  Nosy Kalakajoro - Navigation to Nosy Kalakajoro (3h30), first island of Radama archipelago. Early afternoon arrival, island walk and overnight anchorage in this preserved setting.

• Day 4

  Nosy Saba - Nosy Lava - Very early departure to Nosy Saba, southern island of Radama archipelago. Magnificent snorkeling southeast of this islet. Navigation to Nosy Lava (3h), walk to summit with breathtaking view of bay and Analalava.

• Day 5

  Nosy Lava - Komansary - Morning visit of Nosy Lava, former penitentiary and fascinating historic site. Navigation to Komansary in Narinja bay. Conditional discovery of sea Tsingy and its baobabs (weather permitting).

• Day 6

  Komansary Exploration - Komansary, very wild place to observe sifakas, fishing eagles and amazing flora with baobabs. This gem is only accessible if weather conditions allow anchorage (beware of Varatraza - southeast winds). Option to return to Nosy Lava if necessary.

• Day 7

  Nosy Antanimora - Long navigation to Nosy Antanimora, third northern Radama island. Swimming on sand tongue and village visit at sunset before spending night aboard.

• Day 8

  Return via Nosy Iranja - Overnight navigation to reach Nosy Iranja late morning. Last swim at southeast point of this islet before heading back to Nosy Be. Evening arrival at Crater Marina.
